ABOUT US

Ευρωπαίοι Ναυτικοί Μεσίτες is the single sales agency for OceanWalker luxury power catamarans across nine European countries. There is no dealer network, no regional licensee and no local margin added between the yard and you. One agency handles the enquiry, the specification, the price, the delivery, the berth and the first year of maintenance, and one person stays with you from the first email to the moment the boat is on its lines.

Who European Yacht Brokers are

European Yacht Brokers is a specialist agency that sells one thing: luxury power catamarans built by OceanWalker. We are not a general brokerage carrying forty listings from thirty builders, and we do not take trade-ins on boats we know nothing about. The entire business is built around one range, which is the only way to know a boat well enough to answer the questions that matter before a buyer commits several million euros.

The team works from the Mediterranean, where the boats are, and travels to buyers rather than expecting buyers to travel to a stand at a boat show. A private viewing is arranged on your schedule, on the water, with the boat rigged as it would be handed over. Everything you are told about a boat during that viewing is a figure we will subsequently put in writing.

What makes European Yacht Brokers different from the way most yachts are sold in Europe is structural rather than stylistic, and it is worth explaining properly, because it changes what you pay and who is accountable when something needs fixing.

Why we sell through one agency and not a dealer network

The conventional way to sell a yacht range across Europe is to appoint a dealer in each country. The dealer buys or brokers the boat, adds a margin, and owns the customer relationship. It is convenient for the builder and expensive for the buyer, and it produces the two problems every experienced owner recognises: the same boat costs different money in different countries, and when something goes wrong nobody is quite sure whose responsibility it is.

We have deliberately not done that. European Yacht Brokers is a single agency covering all nine countries, working directly with the yard. The consequence is that there is one price for a given specification regardless of whether you take delivery in Cannes, Palma, Split or Athens, and there is one organisation answerable for the boat afterwards.

It also means we can be honest about which boat suits you. A dealer whose territory is Spain has an interest in selling you the unit sitting in his marina. European Yacht Brokers has no such incentive, because every unit in the range is ours to place, and a buyer who ends up with the wrong boat costs us far more in the long run than the difference between two models.

Finally, it makes the after-sales arrangement workable. A maintenance commitment that spans nine countries is only credible if one organisation holds it. Split across nine dealers it becomes nine different standards and nine sets of paperwork.

The nine countries European Yacht Brokers covers

We sell, deliver, berth and maintain in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Germany. Between them these markets cover the whole of the Mediterranean cruising ground, the Adriatic, the Atlantic coast of Iberia and the northern European buyer who keeps a boat in the south.

Coverage is not a line on a map. In each country it means a delivery port we routinely use, berth availability we can actually secure rather than promise, a maintenance arrangement with yards we have worked with before, and familiarity with the local registration and tax position. The rules on flag, VAT status and chartering differ meaningfully between, say, Malta and Croatia, and a buyer should not have to discover that after signing.

If you intend to keep the boat outside those nine countries we will say so plainly rather than take the order and work it out later. European Yacht Brokers would rather decline a sale than commit to support it cannot deliver.

What every sale includes

Three things are included in the price of every boat we sell, and they are the three that most often turn into unexpected invoices elsewhere.

Delivery. The boat is delivered to the port you nominate within our coverage, by our own crew, insured in transit. You do not arrange a delivery skipper and you do not pay for fuel and crew time as an extra.

The berth. We arrange and contract a berth on your behalf. Anyone who has tried to find a berth for an 8.38 m beam in the Mediterranean in June understands what this is worth. A catamaran of this beam is refused by a great many marinas and charged at a multiple by others, and securing the right berth is a matter of relationships rather than phone calls.

The first year of maintenance. Scheduled servicing for the first twelve months is included and carried out by yards we appoint and supervise. It is included because the first year is when a new boat reveals whatever it is going to reveal, and we would rather be the ones who find it.

Nothing in that list is a discretionary extra offered on some sales and not others. It is how European Yacht Brokers sells every boat.

How buying through European Yacht Brokers works

The process is deliberately short, because a long process usually means somebody is being passed between departments.

You tell us how you intend to use the boat: where you will keep it, how many people aboard, how far you cruise, whether you run crew. We come back with a recommendation from the range and a written specification. If the recommendation is a smaller boat than you asked about, that is what you will get, and we would rather say it early.

A private viewing follows, on the water, with the boat prepared as it would be at handover. You see the actual systems, the actual stowage and the actual noise levels at the actual speeds. We then issue a fixed price against the written specification, and that price does not move afterwards.

On acceptance we confirm the delivery date, arrange the berth and begin commissioning. Handover runs over two days at your berth, the first on systems and the second on the water with you and any regular crew. From that point European Yacht Brokers remains your single point of contact for the life of your ownership.

Current availability is listed on the luxury power catamarans in stock page, and published figures for the range are on the prices page.

Independence, and what it means in practice

A brokerage that carries forty boats from thirty builders is, in the end, selling whatever is easiest to sell that month. An agency that represents one range has to be right about which boat suits which owner, because the same buyers come back and the market talks. That is not a moral position, it is a commercial one, and it is the reason we will steer a buyer toward a smaller boat when the smaller boat is the right answer.

It also shapes what we will not do. We do not take deposits against a specification that has not been written down. We do not quote a delivery date we have not confirmed with the yard. We do not publish a figure we cannot evidence, and where a number is genuinely not settled we print that it is on request rather than filling the gap with something plausible.

None of this is unusual in other industries. In this one it is rare enough to be worth stating plainly on a page that anybody can read before they pick up the telephone.

The OceanWalker range we represent

European Yacht Brokers represents four models. The Ωκεοάνγουωκερ S60 is the core boat: 18.87 m overall, 8.38 m beam, four en-suite guest cabins plus two crew, twin Volvo Penta D6-440 diesels giving 880 hp and 18 knots, roughly 1,500 nautical miles of range, and a price of 3.2 million euros with all options included. The electric S60E shares the hull and accommodation but replaces the engine room with twin 150 kW motors and 282 kWh of storage, and is offered at price on application against a preliminary specification.

Το ΩκεανόςΠερπατητής X62 is the performance boat in the range, with twin Βόλβο Πέντα D13-800 units producing 1,600 hp and a top speed of 25 knots, on a 5.20 m beam with three to four guest cabins and one crew cabin. The ΩκεανόςΠεριπατητής X53 is the smallest at 16.25 m and 4.70 m beam, with three guest cabins and the same D6-440 pairing as the S60, and is available in a flybridge version.

Every published figure for all four boats sits on the σελίδα πλήρων προδιαγραφών, drawn from the same structured source that feeds this one.

Our commitment on price and information

Three commitments govern how European Yacht Brokers publishes and quotes. First, a price quoted in writing against a written specification is fixed and does not move. Second, every specification on this website comes from one structured data source, so the figure on a model page, the figure in a comparison table and the figure in a brochure are necessarily the same number. Third, where we do not have a figure, we say it is on request rather than estimating.

On tax and registration we take the same approach. VAT status, flag and the rules on chartering depend on your circumstances, and the framework is published by the European Commission taxation and customs authority. Our EU yacht VAT guide for buyers sets out the position, and we go through it with every buyer before signature rather than after.

Who are European Yacht Brokers?

European Yacht Brokers is the single sales and support agency for OceanWalker luxury power catamarans across nine European countries. We work directly with the yard rather than through a dealer network, which is why the price for a given specification is the same in every country we cover.

Which countries do you cover?

France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Germany. In each we have established delivery ports, berth availability, maintenance arrangements and familiarity with the local registration and tax position.

Do you have local dealers I should contact instead?

No. There is no dealer network and no regional licensee. Every enquiry, in every country, is handled by European Yacht Brokers directly, and you keep the same point of contact from first enquiry through to after-sales.

What is included in the price of the boat?

Delivery to your chosen port by our own crew and insured in transit, a berth arranged and contracted on your behalf, and the first twelve months of scheduled maintenance carried out by yards we appoint and supervise.

Can I see a boat before committing?

Yes. We arrange a private viewing on the water, on your schedule, with the boat prepared as it would be at handover. Every figure discussed at that viewing is subsequently confirmed in writing.

Does the price change between countries?

No. Because European Yacht Brokers is one central agency rather than nine dealers, there is no local margin to add. The same written specification carries the same price whether you take delivery in Cannes, Palma, Split or Athens.
