The forthcoming Ocean Walker S80 is the larger sister in the Revolution Power Catamarans story and is planned for launch in 2027. Based on the preliminary profile and general arrangement released in February 2026, the project combines an overall length of 23.99 metres with an unusually generous 11.60-metre beam.

Those dimensions place the S80 among the new generation of large luxury power catamarans, but its visual language is intentionally closer to that of a contemporary motor yacht. The long horizontal glazing, low visual centre of gravity and restrained superstructure give the yacht a sleek profile despite its substantial internal volume.

A 24-metre yacht with its own visual identity

The most immediate quality of the S80 is its exterior design. Rather than following the high-sided “floating villa” character associated with some large production catamarans, it presents a lower and more continuous profile. Dark horizontal window bands visually reduce the yacht’s height, while the long upper-deck overhang and sculpted hull surfaces create a clear, recognisable silhouette.

This matters commercially as much as aesthetically. At this level, an owner is not simply buying the practicality of two hulls. The yacht must possess presence, proportion and a strong identity of its own. The early S80 renders suggest a yacht that should be presented first as a sophisticated 24-metre motor yacht—one that also delivers the stability, privacy and exceptional usable area of a power catamaran.

A 43 m² private owner’s apartment on the main deck

One of the defining features of the preliminary arrangement is the 43 m² main-deck master suite. This is not simply a larger cabin. It has the potential to function as a private owner’s apartment, separated from the four additional guest cabins accommodated below.

Locating the owner’s suite on the main deck brings several advantages: easier access, broader views, greater privacy and a stronger separation between owner and guest accommodation. It also helps the S80 compete on the qualities that matter at the premium end of the market, where personal space and the experience of living aboard are as important as the number of berths.

An 88 m² sundeck created for life outdoors

The second headline feature is the 88 m² open sundeck. Outdoor living is a decisive part of the appeal of a yacht of this size, and the area shown in the preliminary arrangement provides space for several distinct uses rather than a single lounge.

The early design indicates substantial sunbathing and seating areas, an elevated social space and an aft spa. The result is a deck intended for long days at anchor, entertaining and private relaxation, with the available surface area to create genuine separation between activities.

Five guest cabins without compromising the owner’s space

The proposed five-cabin arrangement combines the full main-deck master with four further guest cabins below. That balance allows the yacht to accommodate family and friends while preserving a clearly privileged owner’s area.

For private use, the arrangement provides considerable flexibility. Depending on the final configuration, guest spaces could support family cruising, additional privacy for couples or longer periods aboard. The definitive layouts, crew accommodation and optional arrangements should be presented once the design has been frozen.

A semi-planing platform awaiting final performance data

The S80 is currently described around a semi-planing hull concept. This is an important part of the project’s technical story, but its real significance will become clear only when the final propulsion package and performance figures are released.

Engine options, displacement, draught, fuel capacity, cruising speed, maximum speed and range were not included in the preliminary material used for this introduction. These figures should therefore not be estimated or inferred. When officially confirmed, they will allow owners to evaluate how effectively the S80 combines its substantial volume with the performance and autonomy expected of a modern long-range power catamaran.

Positioned as an exclusive, design-led flagship

The S80 enters a competitive 80-foot segment populated by established production and semi-custom builders. Its opportunity is not to imitate those yachts, but to occupy a more distinctive position: boutique, design-led and motor-yacht-like, with the space and stability advantages of a multihull.

The preliminary design already provides two particularly strong owner-facing propositions—the 43 m² main-deck master and the 88 m² open sundeck. Its exterior gives the yacht an identity capable of standing alongside recognised names in the category. The next stage will be to support that visual promise with confirmed engineering, construction, performance, warranty and after-sales information.

Looking ahead to 2027
